Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, renowned for their breathtaking landscapes and vibrant horticultural displays, provided a unique collaboration opportunity. Our partnership began with magnets designed for their "Aglow" holiday lights display. Translating real-world imagery into print and wood proved challenging, as anyone who has photographed Christmas Lights probably understands. To solve the issue, we re-imagined the display's featured animals as light-filled silhouettes, a visually appealing and memorable keepsake that captured the essence of the display. After the success of the "Aglow" series, we next developed a set of magnets based on photography of some of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens' most popular plantings. This series is absolutely one of our favorites; the color of the flowers really pops with the natural texture of the wood behind. Most recently, we created a series of matchbox miniatures, each designed to represent one of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens' gardens. The six piece set is one of the largest series we've done for an organization at one time, and it was fun challenge to figure out how to recreate each garden in miniature.

Philadelphia Museum of Art.

We have had the privilege to work with the Philadelphia Museum of Art for nearly 10 years. The museum is a Philadelphia icon, as well as housing a world class collection of art. We’ve created a variety of custom items based on the museums facade including bookmarks, magnets, and our Matchbox Miniatures. Our favorite project has been creating bookmarks based on the museum extensive and varied collection. From painted masterpieces, to needlepoint test sheets.

Montauk Historical Society

The Montauk Historical Society, stewards of the iconic Montauk Point Lighthouse, is dedicated to preserving the rich maritime heritage and history of the region. Our collaboration began with creating a charming, custom matchbox miniature of their historic lighthouse, capturing its iconic perch at the end of Long Island in miniature detail. After the success of this initial custom products the Historical Society opted to add a set of full color items cut to the distinctive shape of their lighthouse. The set includes magnets, bookmarks, coasters, and even bag tags! For younger visitors, and the young at heart, we also developed a pop-out postcard depicting the lighthouse and surrounding elements of Montauk Point. Together, we've created thoughtful, custom products that help the Montauk Historical Society continue their ongoing preservation efforts.

The Northwest Indiana Forum brings together business leaders and innovators to foster economic growth and collaboration across Northern Indiana. Our annual collaboration with the organization is an exciting highlight of our January. Each year, we design a unique matchbox miniature set featuring iconic landmarks and businesses from the region. These miniatures serve as memorable gifts for attendees of forum events. The miniatures showcasing the diverse and dynamic spirit of Northwest Indiana. From bank headquarters to beloved local restaurants. The varied nature of the buildings makes this project especially enjoyable, allowing us to represent the rich tapestry of communities and enterprises that define the area.

Greater Portland Landmarks

Greater Portland Landmarks is a nonprofit preservation society with more than a dozen buildings in their care but when creating their Matchbox Miniature we decided to focus on one building that summed up Portland's rich maritime history - the Portland Observatory. Framed at the top of the piece by the city's distinctive hilly skyline, the Observatory overlooks a vignette of Portland's historic waterfront. Now a best selling item in their gift store, manager Alessa Wylie says, "From the packaging to the product, they are just first class.”
