The Charlotte, NC Matchbox Miniature is a laser-cut wooden shadow box of the city’s skyline towers and a bridge over the Catawba region waters, a fitting keepsake for anyone with ties to Charlotte. The city was named for Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III, back in 1768, and the “Queen City” nickname has stuck for well over a century.
Four layers of wood are laser-cut and engraved to create real depth, like a window into the skyline itself. Available in three sizes to fit any space or budget, and made to order in our Bristol, RI workshop.
